Looking Forward to the 2018 International Builders’ Show
NAHB’s International Builder’s Show, the largest residential and light-construction trade show in North America, will be held Jan. 9 through 11, 2018, in Orlando, Fla., at the Orange County Convention Center.
Once again this year, NAHB has joined forces with the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) for Design & Construction Week. All Builders’ Show attendees can also attend KBIS. Both shows will have exhibits in the West and South Buildings of the convention center. The Builders’ Show Outdoor Exhibits will be in the parking lot behind the West Building.
All NAHB members are welcome and encouraged to attend Meeting of the Members, a chance to learn about how the Association’s grassroots work guides its direction and activities. Meeting of the Members will take place from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 10, in the West Concourse, Level IV, Valencia Ballroom. “Shark Tank” TV personality Daymond John will join the meeting to offer his ideas on entrepreneurship.
Fully registered attendees will be able to choose from more than 140 educational sessions on a wide range of housing industry topics. NAHB “Centrals,” free to all IBS registrants, offer the opportunity to network and learn about the latest trends in remodeling, custom building, 55-plus housing, sales and marketing, design, and multifamily construction.
This year at the International Builders’ Show, there will be two show homes offering the latest in design and technological innovation for residential construction professionals. The New American Home, located in the Bella Collina golf community in Monteverde, and The New American Remodel, in Winter Park, are both a short shuttle bus ride from the Convention Center. Complimentary tickets to the two show homes are available on a first-come, first-served basis at The New American/Remodeled Home tour booth located in the West Concourse, Level II, Hall C Lobby, #W38 and #W39 starting at 7 a.m. on each show day.
